Print stencils at real size, several copies per sheet
The most common mistake when printing a stencil is scale: the printer or PDF viewer “fits to page” and the tattoo comes out smaller. Here the PDF places the design at its exact millimetres, with a ruler to check it.
or drop it here · PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG
Everything runs in your browser: the design never leaves your device.
How to use it
- 1Upload the design and set its width on the skin.
- 2Choose the sheet, how many copies, the columns and the gap (negative so they overlap).
- 3Download the PDF and print it at 100 %, without fitting to page.
Tips
- Measure the 10 mm ruler at the foot of the sheet with a real ruler before transferring.
- Several copies on one sheet save stencil paper when you test sizes.
- With several copies, the PNG holds the block of copies of the first sheet for thermal printer apps.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my stencil come out smaller?
It’s almost always the “Fit to page” option in the print dialog. Print at 100 % (actual size) and check the ruler.
Which sheet do I use with a thermal printer?
Most thermal stencil printers use A4 or Letter; if yours uses another format, choose “Custom” and enter its size.
Do overlapping copies cover each other?
No: the ink adds up and paper never covers another copy.
